The Sea of Pink

We did it! We created a sea of pink!

Women's March on Washington D.C. and over 600 sister solidarity marches took place January 21, 2017! The Pussyhat Project launched Thanksgiving weekend with the goal of creating a sea of pink hats representing not only those at the march, but also the makers of these pink hats!

What next?

Pussyhat Project is a movement, not just a moment.

Keep connected! Keep communicating! Keep fighting for women's rights!

Hold onto your hats,  and wear them loudly and proudly.

Keep making pussyhats! Learn to make pussyhats! Teach others! Free patterns for knitcrochet and sew are here and being expanded.

Connect with a local community of knitters: check out our Locations page as a good place to start:

Use your knitting circles to plan out what you are going to do next in your community. Use your knitting circles as an opportunity to get together to write letters to government leaders about women's rights issues.  Welcome non-knitting women's rights supporters to your group to brainstorm actions you can take. Check out 10 actions for 100 days (a pussyhat postcard to be free and available to print soon)!

We are just beginning. More to come.
